So, Illinois has been in the Primary season and we have been inundated with political ads. Everything from the Governor's race (to fill Blagojevich's place permanently), to Senator's race (to fill Obama's place permanently), to the Cook County Board President (to replace Todd Stroger - who implemented the additional penny sales tax which makes Cook County have the highest sales tax in the US). So glad that the commercials will now be "normal" and not the annoying attack ads (at last until this fall).
Tuesday was Election Day and Yes - I voted! Can't complain about the candidates in November, if you didn't try to get your candidate in the race!
